Hundreds thrilled at maiden Atarah Praise

It was an atmosphere filled with a lot of thanksgiving at the maiden Atarah Praise organised by the singing Prophet, Joseph Atarah.

The event held yesterday at the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission auditorium at Trinity Avenue, East Legon, brought heavyweights in gospel music, industry players, and believers together.

Hundreds of patrons in the auditorium were privileged to witness a performance from the legendary gospel musician, with over three decades of churning out wonderful songs, Rev. Mensah Bonsu.

The night an awesome turn with a performance from dynamic Ruth Adjei, one of Ghana’s finest budding gospel musicians. She rocked the patrons with an amazing display on the night.

Known for his appellations, Oheneba Clement got patrons in the room to be on their feet to give thanks and exalt the Almighty God.

Male Vocalist and Songwriter of the Year at the just-ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Perez Musik serenaded the atmosphere in the auditorium with his powerful voice and showmanship on stage.

Empress Gifty, also took her turn to lead the gathering for an unforgettable encounter with God, as she took them through her new song “Awiey3 Pa”, and one of her classics, F3f33f3.

An interesting moment was when, Empress Gifty joined Obaapa Christy, ACP Kofi Sarpong, Jack Alolome, Prophet Atarah, and Piesie Esther down the stage to praise God together in style.

The moment came for Prophet Atarah, the man everyone had been waiting for to take his turn to be a blessing to the gathering.

Clad in his all-white apparel, Prophet Atarah brought out his multi-tasking side, as he was seen playing the trumpet, ‘Dondo’, conga, and other drums in between his performance.

After singing his Adom Nyame song, he was joined by Piesie Esther, as they sang his ‘Woye Odo’ song together at the event.

Gospel Artiste Of The Year at the just Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Piesie Esther opened her performance with ‘Waye Me Yie’ which brought all those in the auditorium on their feet.

She also took the audience through some songs in her repertoire which got everyone dancing.

The event was crowned in style as all the gospel musicians and Men of God present joined Prophet Atarah to cut the cake and pop champagne to usher in the maiden edition of Atarah Praise and celebrate 17 years in the prophetic ministry.

Apostle Emmanuel Nkum of Radiant Place Church had his time to give some words of exaltation aimed at raising support for Prophet Atarah’s career.
Speaking to Thespectatoronline, after the programme, Prophet Atarah expressed gratitude to God and appreciation to his colleagues who graced the occasion to make it a success.
He also thanked members of Believers Grace Ministry for their unflinching support to his Ministry.
