Empress Gifty also made undisclosed cash donation after hosting them at a brunch to celebrate them.
The legends present at the event were Mary Ghansah, Diana Hopeson, Abena Serwaa Ophelia, Tagoe Sisters, Abaawa Connie, Afia Owusua Ahuga, Cindy Thompson, Amy Newman and Georgia Adjei.
Speaking at the event which took place at EMS Event Centre at Agbogba on October 25 and attended by many industry players, Empress Gifty said it has always been her desire to honour legends for paving the way for them.
She said, as a result, she has always supported most of them behind the scenes and it was laid on her heart to honour some of them publicly on her birthday.
According to her, those who have paved the way must be celebrated when they are alive for them to feel honoured.
Against this backdrop, she thanked them for honouring her invitation to show them love.
The legends expressed their appreciation to Empress Gifty, saying it was the first time seeing such a gesture from an artiste, and also prayed for her.
They also took turns to perform some of their classics from their repertoire.
Interestingly, Kuami Eugene made an appearance to surprise Empress Gifty. They entertained the crowd by performing her new song ‘Watch Me’ which he wrote and produced.
