‘Shutdown’ in Kwahu for Easter festivities

Thousands of Ghanaians will troop to Kwahu in the Eastern Region to partake in several activities that usually characterise the Easter celebrations in Ghana.
Kwahu,over the years, has become the destination for Easter in Ghana and just like previous years, the town would welcome the diaspora, natives from far and near as well as tourists for another unforgettable experience.
The area also boasts of tourist sites that attract both locals and foreigners, promoting tourism and contributing to the economy through foreign exchange.
With vibrant and diverse events from picnics, street carnivals and the highlight of the festivities, paragliding, it is expected to be another shutdown in Kwahu.
The ‘Kwahu Easter experience 2024’ would involve tours around towns such as Obome, Mpreaso, Abetifi, Atibre, Pepease, Nkawkaw and Abene.
Various groups and event planners have also partnered with the Ministry of Tourism to create affordable packages that include transportation, food, sightseeing, and accommodation to ensure that everyone enjoyed the festivities and attractions that Kwahu has to offer.
Some other activities include football gala featuring some prominent teams in the area,visits to Bruku Rock,Abetifi Stone Age Park, Ramseyer Presby Church, Street Carnival, eating competitions, Sword Drill, Word Puzzle, Easter Egg and Spoon Race, among others.
Overall, the Kwahu Easter Experience in Ghana showcases a rich blend of culture, sports events and tourist attractions, making it a must-visit destination for families and tourists looking for a vibrant and memorable Easter celebration.

Oncemore Six to headline Symphonic Gospel Meets Orchestra 2024
Symphonic Music Ghana is set for the 4th edition of the Symphonic Gospel Meets Orchestra concert, scheduled for December 22 at The Palms Convention Centre in Accra.
This year’s event will feature renowned South African gospel artiste Oncemore Six as the main performer.
The singer is known for his powerful worship songs like “Here on our knees” and “Ohlonishwayo”.
‘Oncemore Six’ has inspired audiences across Africa with his heartfelt music.

2024 Eastern Music Awards: Daasebreba Kwame crowned Artiste of the Year
Rising music sensation Daasebreba Kwame has been crowned Artiste of the Year at the 2024 Eastern Music Awards held at the Koforidua Cultural Centre.
