Serwaa Manu crowned Miss Health Ghana 2020
Priscilla Serwaa Manu , a nurse, from Mampong Nursing Training School is the newly crowned Queen of Miss Health Ghana.
It was a tale of beauty and elegance at this year’s grand finale held at the GNAT Hall, as Serwaa Manu shrugged off competition from nine other finalists to win a brand new 2017 Hyundai Accent as well as securing a one-year health ambassadorial deal.
Akambey Awontemi Isabella, a medical student at the University of Development Studies (UDS) was the first runner-up in this year’s competition while Gracia Helarie Fraikue, a student of the University of Health and Allied Sciences was also adjuged the second runner-up.
This year’s pageantry held under the theme “Creating Awareness on Mental Health” saw finalists undertake a “Beauty for Health project” which highlighted the shortfalls in matters concerning healthy living in series of presentations.
Speaking at the finals, Madam Gladys Akyere Rockson, Chief Executive Officer of Lamrock Agency, organisers of the pageantry, said the Miss Health Ghana platform was geared towards empowering young beautiful Ghanaian ladies in changing the narrative against the stereotyping of persons who were not mentally stable.
“This year has been very challenging but I’m delighted to have led the organisation of the pageant and I want to thank team members and sponsors who have supported this cause.
She expressed appreciation to fly Zone Ghana, Adonko Next Level, Blag Ghana Limited, Bela Aqua Mineral Water, Okuma Hotels, Slim Right, Asuavo Security among other partners for supporting this year’s pageant.

Oncemore Six to headline Symphonic Gospel Meets Orchestra 2024
Symphonic Music Ghana is set for the 4th edition of the Symphonic Gospel Meets Orchestra concert, scheduled for December 22 at The Palms Convention Centre in Accra.
This year’s event will feature renowned South African gospel artiste Oncemore Six as the main performer.
The singer is known for his powerful worship songs like “Here on our knees” and “Ohlonishwayo”.
‘Oncemore Six’ has inspired audiences across Africa with his heartfelt music.

2024 Eastern Music Awards: Daasebreba Kwame crowned Artiste of the Year
Rising music sensation Daasebreba Kwame has been crowned Artiste of the Year at the 2024 Eastern Music Awards held at the Koforidua Cultural Centre.
The Eastern Music Awards, currently in its fifth year, promotes and recognises remarkable artistes thriving in the region and throughout Ghana in a variety of categories.
